The Benefits module allows you to collect employee expense claims, set per diems, make deductions, assign bonuses, and more.
Creating Benefit Types
First, you need to create benefit types. Wemply allows you to set up three types of benefits:
Quantity determined by request, fixed amount β For example, for per diem, you can specify that the employee receives β¬50 for each per diem. When requesting the benefit, the employee only needs to specify the quantity of per diems.
Fixed quantity, amount determined by request β For example, for expense claims, you can set the quantity to 1 and allow the claim amount to be freely specified in the request. The same applies to employee bonuses, where you specify the amount and the quantity is 1.
Quantity determined by request, amount determined by request β This is for variable bonuses where both the quantity and the amount can vary.
Once the benefit types are set up, you can start processing benefit requests.
Approval Process
Under the Modules section, you can enable benefit approval, which allows for a two-level approval process for benefit requests based on reporting relationships before they proceed to payroll processing.
