Pay Rates

Pay rates configurable by employee, site and work type

Pay rates let you set special pay for different employees, sites and work types, based on their own pricing and coefficients.

  • Employee – Which employee the rate applies to (if empty, it applies to all)

  • Site – Which site's working hours the rate applies to (if empty, it applies to all)

  • Work type – Which work type's working hours the rate applies to (if empty, it applies to all)

  • Pay type – A coefficient and/or rate set up beforehand (guide – pay types)

  • Rate – The value the pay base is multiplied by

  • Start date and End date – The period when the pay rate is active

  • Description – An optional free-text description of the pay

Example – Pay rate – Site bonus

In this example, we want to create a pay rate for a specific site that is added on top of the base pay.

When working at the Keila factory site, all employees who have this site set on their working time get a fixed extra €5/h.

Because we leave the Employee and Work type fields empty, the rate applies to everyone at this site.

Example – Pay rate – Work type bonus

A technician is called in as an exception to fix something outside normal working hours, and gets a fixed extra €x/h for it.

Because we handle this through a work type, that work type also has to be added correctly to the working time.

In this setup, the Employee and Site fields are left empty. This means the rate isn't limited to any employee or site, only to the work type on the working time.

Every hour the technician works with this work type earns an extra €50/h on top of their base pay.
