Adding Objects and Customers

You can add a new object under Manage → Objects. A site represents a physical location or department where the employee performs their work.

If your company operates in multiple buildings: For example, a production facility — each building should be added as a separate site.
In this case, you don’t need to use the Customers module, and it can be disabled under:
Setup → Settings → Features by toggling off the Customers module.

If your company performs work for customers: In this case, the sites can represent projects or worksites for different customers.
You can then add a customer under:
Manage → Sites → Customers, and link the corresponding sites to that client.

Later on, the employee’s work hours and other information will be associated with the specific object or customer + object combination, depending on your setup.
